I recently got an email from Whataburger (yes, I am on their email distribution...don't judge) announcing their new classic up promotion. Each Monday for a month, a new cup will come out. So we showed up on the first Monday and snagged our first classic cup. We'll be there every Monday for the rest of the month, feel free to join us!
Samantha is constantly saying funny little things. I try to write them down so I can reflect on them in the future when she is a teenager and has just said hateful things towards me.
The other morning, Helmut made Sam a piece of toast for breakfast. When asked how it tasted, this was her response, "It's really good. The sourdough bread is the perfect balance for the apricot jam."
A few nights ago, Sam tip-toed out of her room after I thought she had fallen asleep. She confessed she had been reading in bed. I reminded her how early she has to wake up for school and implored her to go to sleep. Her response was, "I can't help it. Reading is my passion."
