School started this Monday and we were immediatley forced to sluff off our summer selves and get back on a schedule. The boys were up by 5 AM and quickly out the door for seminary. They weren't in the mood for pictures so early in the morning, thus no first day of school pics for them. Sam humored me.
She started fourth grade and the GT program this year. That meant that she was in a class with all new kids. I could tell she was nervous about making new friends and what challanges her new class might entail. But she was up an hour earlier than necessary and ready to get the ball rolling.
So far her only report of school is that it is "weird". Such a typical Sam response.
Dad and Chuy stuck around to help walk Sam to the bus.
Sam loves getting a new pair of shoes each school year. This year so forsook her usual Converse for this pair of Asics. She saw them at Soler's Sport (a running/biking store in Helotes) and HAD to have them. We searched all over for her size and finally ended up ordering them online. My little girl wears a size 6 womens!
She jumped on the bus so fast she was nothing but a blur...
Cute girl. Awesome kicks.
